Birthday Parties

Children's Birthday Parties at Hutchison House are available for children between the ages of 6 and 11.

Hutchison House will host children's birthday parties with a variety of heritage related activities.

• Children will be given period costumes to wear at the party on arrival at the house.
• Staff will lead old-fashioned games such as hide the thimble and drop the hankie.
• 

  Children's Birthday Parties at Hutchison House are available for children between the ages of 6 and 11.
  Guests participate in hearth cooking, generally cookies that can be enjoyed at the party.
• Every child decorates a rag doll (or some other craft item) to take home with them.
• New ideas are always welcome.

Fee: $50.00 plus $5.00 per child, with use of kitchen and dishes. Parents are responsible for all of the food except the hearth cookies.

Space is limited to a maximum of 10 children, with a minimum of five.

This program is not recommended for children less than six years old. The parties are very popular with children up to 11 years old.
